Rainmaker Foundation Expert Series Workshop – Charity Accounting and Taxes

This workshop is aimed at those in charge of their organisation’s finances, whether CEO, Director, Fundraiser or Operations Manager.

 

Speaker – Cara Turtington – Partner at Saffery Champness

Cara Turtington is a Partner at Saffery Champness and expert Chartered Accountant specialising in the Voluntary and Not-for-Profit sector. She has a vast level of experience managing audits and assisting clients in areas such as governance, systems & controls, reporting requirements, budgeting and forecasting. Her portfolio of clients comprises of more than 40 organisations including Charitable Foundations, hospices, specialist higher education institutes, theatres and international membership organisations. In addition to her charity and not for profit experience Cara has a strong understanding of business accounting and contributes articles on financial and reporting issues for the charity press. She also provides trustee training, support in setting up new charities is particularly dedicated to the arts sector.

 

The Workshop:

The workshop aims to be as bespoke as possible to ensure all participants gain the most from attending.

Cara’s huge level of expertise will be tailored specifically to those attending this workshop. We ask that ALL attendees send through questions for our speaker when they register to manuela@rainmakerfoundation.org and at the latest by Tuesday 22nd September to ensure they are addressed during the workshop.

Please note that there is a £35 deposit charge which will be refunded in full to all that attend.

 

Cancellation: Tickets must be cancelled a minimum of 48 hours before the date of workshop to ensure that no fee is charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the deposit will be charged and used to provide bursaries to charities travelling out of London.
