What does being a member at Impact Hub Westminster mean?

Membership at Impact Hub Westminster joins you to a community of over 500 members locally and over 7000 members globally, working across sectors from future technology to education, environmental sustainability to impact investment.

We offer a number of services to support you in your daily business needs including access to workspace, a registered mailbox and storage but the real benefit of Impact Hubs is the open collaborative working environment. What are the membership criteria?

Impact Hub Westminster is a place for inventors, venture capitalists, community activists, designers, engineers and policy makers working together to tackle our world’s challenges! We ask that you support the Impact Hub’s mission of enabling enterprising ideas for positive social and/or environmental impact. To apply for membership please fill in our online membership form.

How do I apply for membership?

Please fill in our online membership application form. Our membership team aim to respond within 48 hours of application submission.

Are membership tariffs issued for a whole team or per person?

Membership tariffs are issued on an individual basis. This gives you the flexibility to choose tariffs for your team depending on their space usage. For more information about membership tariffs please visit our Become a Member page.

How can I pay for my membership?

All members should be signed up with Direct Debit as to facilitate payments for memberships, meeting rooms, printing, phone calls etc.

Is there a minimum contract term?

Yes. Our memberships operate on rolling monthly contract. If you would like to upgrade your tariff or add new team members you can do so immediately. For tariff downgrades and cancellations we ask for 30 days’ notice period. For more information about membership tariffs please see here.

Can I bring guests into the space?

Yes members can hold meetings in our Studio Café for up to 4 people (including themselves) for a couple of hours at a time. For meetings larger than 4 people we kindly ask that you book into one of our meeting rooms. For more information about these please see our Book Our Space page.

Can I reserve a desk?

Our space operates on a hot-desking basis, meaning that you can’t reserve a permanent desk. Sitting next to someone new each time you visit the space encourages you to meet new impact makers – sparking conversations, idea sharing and ultimately collaborations!

Will I be able to take calls at Impact Hub Westminster?

Yes. Members generally take calls in the main co-working areas and we are also having a number of ‘Wiki pods’ built for private calls to be in place for January 2014.

How can I arrange to visit Impact Hub Westminster?

We run weekly tours of our space every Friday at 1pm for those that are interested in membership. Give us a shout if you’d like to pop in! For more information and to sign up see here.

How do I get to Impact Hub Westminster?

We are located on the 1st floor of New Zealand House, on the corner of Pall Mall and Haymarket, just off Trafalgar Square. Nearest tube stations are Piccadilly and Charing Cross. If you would like to arrange a visit please see here.

Are there bike parking facilities?

Bike parking facilities are available next to the Barclay’s Parking Bay on the corner of Pall Mall and Cockspur street – just 50 m. from the New Zealand House main entrance.

Are there car parking facilities?

Unfortunately we don’t have car parking facilities here at New Zealand House. The nearest car parks are Q Park Trafalgar, London St Martins Lane Hotel and China Town Master Parking. Please see their websites for more details.

What is Impact Hub Global? How does the global network relate to Impact Hub King’s Cross?

By being a member of Impact Hub Westminster, you are a member of all Impact Hubs around the world and can access them when visiting other cities. Impact Hub is a global community of people from every profession, background and culture working at ‘new frontiers’ to tackle the world’s most pressing social, cultural and environmental challenges.

As a member of Impact Hub Westminster you receive an Impact Hub Passport which generally allows you 1 free working day at any Impact Hub per month and then coworking discounts after that. Note that each Impact Hub is unique so please contact the local Host for details prior to your trip.
